🪤 TNR coordination
Plan trap nights, assign trappers, transporters, and recovery caregivers. Track each cat through Planned → Trapped → Recovering → Returned. Switch between board and calendar views without re-entering anything. Subscribe to your TNR schedule from your phone's calendar app so the next trap night shows up alongside everything else.
🏠 Colonies and cats
Every colony has a location, schedule, primary caregiver, and risk notes. Every cat has up to three photos, ear-tip status, personality notes, where they are in the TNR pipeline, plus quick tags (sick, pregnant, friendly, and a few more). Pick a cover photo for the profile, with thumbnails in lists. Search and filter by name, status, colony, or tag.
🩺 Health and care notes
Each cat has a care-history field for vet visits, vaccines, dewormer doses, surgeries, and treatments. Date-stamp entries as you go and you've got a real medical record by the time you need one. Pair it with the Sick, Pregnant, Nursing, and Special Needs tags so urgent cases jump to the top of your lists and filter views without having to remember who's who.
🥣 Feeding log
Quick logging form on every colony page. Who fed, how many cats seen, who was missing, anything to flag. The team sees the trend in minutes, not a Facebook scroll.
🚨 Emergency reports
Injured. Sick. Pregnant. Kittens found. New colony spotted. Submit with one tap, include a photo, and the team picks it up from the report inbox. New colony reports turn into actual colonies with a button click.
Optionally open this up to the public so anyone who finds a cat at 2am can ping you straight from your yourgroup.colonycat.org page. Anonymous submissions are clearly flagged in your inbox so you can triage them.

See every colony on a map. Plan a route, hand off coverage when you go out of town, or just remember which one is the one with the friendly tortie.
👥 Volunteers and skills
Invite teammates. Skill tags help find a free trapper, a foster with space, or a driver with a carrier. Per-user notification preferences so nobody gets buried in mail.
🌐 Your own public page
Every group gets a web address like yourgroup.colonycat.org with your logo, tagline, colony summary, and a "Volunteer with us" form. New volunteers find you. You can also add a few sentences of your own terms or privacy notes below the standard ones, written in plain text.

Add your donation page (PayPal, Donorbox, Stripe Link, your own page, anywhere) and we'll put a prominent ❤ Donate button on your public landing page and another one on your directory listing. Same for your Facebook, Instagram, website, shop, and supplies wishlist (Amazon, Chewy, etc.). People who find you can support your work in one tap.
🔍 Listed in the public directory
Every group is automatically listed at colonycat.org/directory so neighbors searching for a local rescue actually find you. Visitors search by city, state, or zip and we sort by distance from where they are. Available on any tier including Free.

📬 Your own email address
Mail sent to yourgroup@colonycat.org forwards to every admin in your group (or to a single shared inbox you choose). Reply directly to write back. Your group looks established even if it's just you and a partner.

Build your own views of your data, save them, and run them whenever you like. Pick a data source (cats, colonies, feedings, TNR trap nights, reports, or clinics), choose and reorder the columns you want, name it, and share it with your team or keep it private. 🔐 Security that respects you
Sign in with a one-time link we email you, or use passkeys (fingerprint or face) when your device supports them. We keep an activity log so you can see who did what. Every delete has a 30-day grace window, so you can change your mind. Export your data whenever you want.
